Rosemary Beach Harvest Market
ROSEMARY BEACH – The inaugural Rosemary Beach Harvest Market debuts from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 31. The event will showcase local, regional and national artists who will have works in the media of sculpture, paintings, jewelry, handcrafted furniture, pottery and other artistic creations.
The event is part of a daylong event that includes a kid’s block party, merchant trick-or-treating and a children’s craft area.

Ice Skating Rink
The ice skating rink at The Village of Baytowne Wharf will be open Oct. 31-Jan. 31. Non-holiday hours are 4 to 10 p.m. Monday-Friday, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday, and 12 to 6 p.m. Sunday. Holiday hours Nov. 22-29 are 2 to 10 p.m. Monday-Friday, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday and 12 to 8 p.m.. Sunday. Skating is $8; skates, $2. Call 267-8118.

UWF Department of Theatre
PENSACOLA – The University of West Florida Department of Theatre presents the Tony-Award winning musical “Pippin” at 8 p.m. Oct. 31 and 2:30 p.m. Nov. 1 at the Center for Fine and Performing Arts Mainstage Theatre, Bldg. 82.
Tickets are $16/adults, $12/senior citizens, active military and $10/non-UWF students and UWF faculty and staff. UWF students are admitted free with their Nautilus cards. Call 857-6285 or visit uwf.edu/cfpa.

Coconut Radio
SANDESTIN – Coconut Radio plays from 7 to 9 p.m. every Friday, Saturday and Sunday on the Events Plaza Stage at the Village of Baytowne Wharf.

Comedy Night
OKALOOSA ISLAND – Howl at the Moon Comedy Night by “The Comedy Zone” is held every Sunday night featuring two touring comedians. Doors open at 7 p.m. Dueling Piano Show starts at 8. Comedy Show starts at 9.  Reservations recommended.

Dance auditions
NICEVILLE – The dance program of NWF State College’s Division of Humanities, Fine and Performing Arts will hold auditions for the college’s annual dance concert, Dance Facets 2010, at 6:30 p.m. Nov. 2 and 3 in the Frances Smith Herron Dance Studio, room J-125 in the Mattie Kelly Arts Center on the college’s Niceville campus.
Auditions are open to anyone in the 10th grade and higher. Call 729-6036.

Coffee seminar
DESTIN – Every first Tuesday, Starbucks Destin Commons will host a coffee seminar dealing with various topics with the growing, roasting and preparing of coffee. The next seminar will be held at 11 a.m. Nov. 3. Call 650-0333.

Funky Blues Shack Baytowne
SANDESTIN – A unique collaboration of blues-rock, funky pop and hard-rocking originals by Zach Rosicka at 8 p.m. Tuesdays.
Tunes with a distinctive touch by Jacob Mohr at 8 p.m. Wednesdays.

Blue Angels
PENSACOLA – The Blue Angels will perform practice air shows over NAS Pensacola at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday and Wednesday mornings through November, weather permitting. An autograph session with the pilots inside the Museum follows on Wednesdays. Admission is free and open to the public.

Wednesday Night Concert Series
SANDESTIN – The Village of Baytowne Wharf presents a free concert with Silverwood Quartet from 6 to 8 p.m. Nov. 4 in the Events Plaza. Call 267-8117.

SANDESTIN – Emerald Coast Coffee & Grill in Grand Boulevard presents guitarist Scott Gilmore from 6 to 8 p.m. every Thursday. The event is free and open to public.

David Seering at On The Rocks Bar
DESTIN – David Seering is performing at 8 p.m. Thursdays through Saturdays at Commander’s Palace, On The Rocks Bar, in HarborWalk Village. The local favorite’s music has been compared to Frank Sinatra and Harry Connick Jr., and is a must-see for visitors to the Destin area.

Taste of THE Beach
NORTHWEST FLORIDA – Taste of THE Beach — Wine. Dine. Donate., a four-day culinary and cultural celebration benefiting children’s charities, returns to Northwest Florida’s Gulf Coast Nov. 5-8. This year’s schedule of events includes:

Pioneer Day
NICEVILLE – Pioneer Day 2009, a free, family-oriented event, will be held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 7 at Fred Gannon Rocky Bayou State Park.
Scholars will discuss pioneer lifestyles of 100-150 years ago and the local turpentine industry. Hands-on activities include candle-dipping, ragdoll making and quilting. Other exhibits include demonstrations of pioneer skills, dulcimer music, nature walks and archaeological displays.

Mattie Kelly Arts Center
NICEVILLE – The NWF State College’s Mattie Kelly Fine and Performing Arts Center presents Tap Dogs Nov. 9. Tickets are on sale through the center's online box office at www.mattiekellyartscenter.org, in-person or by phone.

Restaurant Week: Dining for a Cause
SANDESTIN – The Emerald Coast Children’s Advocacy Center in Niceville will be the first-ever beneficiary of Restaurant Week: Dining for a Cause to be held at Grand Boulevard Nov. 9-13.
The week will feature a specially selected three-course meal at each of Grand Boulevard’s five signature restaurants: Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar, P.F. Chang’s China Bistro, Tommy Bahama Tropical Café, Cantina Laredo Mexican Gourmet and Mitchell’s Fish Market. The Center receives one dollar for each select three-course meal sold during the week.
Each visit during the week earns the patron an entry into a drawing for a $1,000 shopping spree to be held Nov. 13 at Grand Park.
