Mr. and Mrs. Shane Edward Brunelle

Morgan Elizabeth Williams of New Bern and Shane Edward Brunelle of Greenville were united in marriage on Oct. 29, 2011, at New Bern Golf and Country Club with the Rev. Richard C. Boyd officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Benjamin and Joan Williams of New Bern. She is the granddaughter of Rosemary G. Karam of New Bern and the late Raymond J. Karam and the late Mr. and Mrs. Philip G. Williams.

The bridegroom is the son of Joe and Nancy Burgess of Pollock Pines, Calif. and the grandson of Jane Degni of Reno, Nev.

The bride was given in marriage by her parents.

Nuptial music was provided by vocalist Darlene Jones and violinist Bonnie Morden.

The matron of honor was Jeanne Nicole Williams of Greenville.

Maid of honor was Jordan Alyson Williams of New Bern, sister of the bride.

Bridesmaids were Megan Baxter Wright of New Bern, Lisa Caldwell Gooding and Kasey Lynn Percivall, both of Raleigh, Courtney Elizabeth Karam of Huntersville, Danielle Christine Horne of Tampa, Fla. and Tara Courtney Coughlin of Harvey’s Lake, Pa.

Kenly Nicole Williams and Jayden Marie Brunelle were the flower girls.

Best man was Christopher Dell Brunell of Virginia Beach, Va., brother of the groom.

Groomsmen were Benjamin Taylor Williams of Greenville, brother of the bride, Zachary Philip Gray Williams of New Bern, brother of the bride, Ryan Matthew Monaghan of Cape May, N.J., Gordon Tracy Barrineau of Charleston, S.C., Robert Brandt Karam of New Bern, Kristopher James Coughlin of Harvey’s Lake, Pa.

Seth Louis Bowling was the ring bearer.

Assisting with the wedding were Sabrina Bengel of New Bern, wedding director; Bonnie Williams, guestbook attendant; and Mrs. John Sanders assisted with cake cutting.

A reception, hosted by the bride’s parents, was held at the New Bern Golf and Country Club.

Assisting with the reception were Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Salem and Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Wise serving as greeters.

The couple took a honeymoon trip to Playa del Carmen, Mexico.

The bride graduated from East Carolina University and is employed by Pitt County Memorial Hospital as a prevention specialist.

The bridegroom graduated from Vincinnes University and is employed by the United States Coast Guard as a BM2.

They plan to travel with the U.S.C.G. for the next 10 years and retire in New Bern.
