Big Cat Birthday Bash

GULF BREEZE, FL - On Saturday, July 18, The ZOO will host a birthday celebration for its popular female lions, Kit and Kat, who are turning 20-years-old.

The "Big Cat Birthday Bash!" will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and will include tours of the cat exhibits, scavenger hunts, face painting and other fun family activities. ZOO animals will be treated with special "cool treats" for enrichment provided by ZOO Docents.

Visitors who bring a large cat toy, whiffleball, fresh herbs or other "cat" treats will ride the train for free.

Call Visitor Services at (850) 932-2229 for a list of acceptable items that may be brought in for the Birthday Bash.
