Family Day in the Park

VALPARAISO, FL - The City of Valparaiso will hold its Family Day in the Park July 4 at Lincoln Park.

The 31st Annual July 4th Duathlon 5K Run/200 Meter Swim starts at 7 a.m. Registration forms can be picked up at City Hall or may be printed from the city's Web site www.valp.org.

Other events include:

11 a.m.- 2 p.m., Goofy the Clown
1- 3 p.m., children's games (ages 5 - 12)
2:15- 3 p.m., Nonie's Ark Animal Encounter
3 p.m., free watermelon for everyone; distribution of flags
