FORT WALTON BEACH, FL - The Young Professionals of the Greater Fort Walton Beach Chamber of Commerce and the Fisher House of the Emerald Coast have found a way to make golf both interesting and charitable.

The Golf Classic and Gala for the Fisher House of the Emerald Coast will return Oct. 3 and 4 at Kelly Plantation in Destin. The event debuted last year.

Several sponsorship opportunities are available for the tournament ranging from Team Sponsor at $1,500 for four players to Emerald Sponsor at $15,000 for eight players.

On opening night, players are invited to a gala at Kelly Plantation featuring a live auction and silent auction. Gala tickets are included in registration for each player and a guest.

Other registration benefits include lunch and special gifts.

Fisher House of the Emerald Coast, which is being built on Eglin Air Force Base, will provide accommodations so military families can be together during treatment for serious illnesses or physical/occupational therapy.
