EMERALD COAST, FL - On Thursday, you’ll get a chance to see him strut his stuff in various spots along the Emerald Coast.
Since late 2006, Middlebrooks has carved out his niche as the rowdy deliveryman who snatches back cases of beer from hoity-toity types who just don’t seem to appreciate the true meaning of "The High Life."
Among his more memorable quips:
- "Clean up on aisle common sense!"
- "$11.50 for a hamburger? Y’all must be crazy!"
- "Ya just lost your privilege to sell Miller High Life, is what ya did."
According to his public relations firm, "Windell will be visiting some local establishments, taking pictures, signing autographs and making sure everyone is enjoying the High Life!"
His tentative schedule looks like this:
- 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. at Walmart, 740 Beal Parkway, Fort Walton Beach;
- 11:15 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. at Helen Back, 114 Amberjack Drive, Fort Walton Beach;
- 1 to 1:15 p.m. at the Red Door Saloon, 240 Harbor Boulevard, Destin;
- 1:30 to 3 p.m. at Walmart, 15017 Emerald Coast Parkway, Destin;
- 3 to 4:00 p.m. at Hooters, 15015 Emerald Coast Parkway, Destin.
"I’m looking forward to hanging out with the real hard-working folk of Destin and Fort Walton Beach," Middlebrooks said through his agency. "We will kick back and enjoy some ice-cold High Life because with the Florida heat I heard we’ll need it."
