Marlin Grill's holiday extravaganza has something for everyone
Marlin Grill Restaurant's Holiday Extravaganza Champagne & Food Walkabout will be held Nov. 19. Enjoy an evening of food pairings with decedent champagnes while getting a sneak peek at Marlin Grill's award winning festive, holiday décor.
The restaurant received recognition as “Most Festive Holiday Décor Award” in 2008 from the Village of Baytowne Wharf.
“After receiving the award, many of our regular guests wanted to know who decorates the restaurant for us and how they can re-create the warm look at their own home,” said co-owner Tom Rice. “We decided to really showcase our Chef's culinary talent and our decorating team's creativity to kick off the holiday season in a fun way,” Rice added.
In addition to the tasty food and spirits, several merchants from Sandestin's Baytowne Wharf village will be on hand to showcase hot holiday gift ideas. CoCo & Company Jewelers plan to tempt guests with unique pieces of jewelry from designers such as John Wind and John Medeiros. Frill Seekers Gifts will feature personalized goodies of every kind to compliment a Lollia perfume bar that Tales by the Sea will display.
Old fashioned, Victorian costumed holiday carolers will “make spirits bright” by serenading the guests throughout the evening.
“As a special thank you to our guests, each will receive a hand-engraved champagne glass as a memento of the event,” said co-owner Wayne Lewis.
Tickets for the evening event are $35. Advance purchase of tickets is highly recommended as the event is expected to sell out. The restaurant is at 9100 Baytowne Wharf Boulevard in Sandestin. For additional questions or to reserve your ticket, call (850) 351-1990.
