Meditation Society to meet

The Emerald Coast Meditation Society will have Alice McCall as guest speaker at its next meeting, Nov. 5. She will speak on “Meditation and Healing.” The group, which is open to the public, meets at Christ the King Episcopal Church parish hall, 480 N. Co. Hwy. 393 in Santa Rosa Beach.

The meeting will start at 6:30 p.m. Anyone who would like meditation instruction should come 15 minutes early.

McCall has recently published her first book, “Wellness Wisdom,” detailing lessons learned as she cured herself of breast cancer without medical intervention. She also cured herself of several other diseases that year. McCall holds a B.S. degree in psychology and a master's in business administration. She is certified in hypnotherapy, reiki and quantum touch. She practices transformational energy healing and spiritual counseling.

“My passion,” she says, “is to help others heal using the entire spectrum of mind, body, spirit and emotion.” She lives in Santa Rosa Beach where she conducts retreats and workshops.

The ECMS meets on the first and third Thursdays of the month.
