History and Fishing Museum annual general membership meeting

All museum members are invited to the annual general membership meeting on Feb. 8, at 6 p.m. at the museum for an evening of information.

Come hear a brief history of Destin presented by the Museum’s Director, Jean Melvin. Museum President Mike Long will announce the projected developments in the museum’s future and introduce the museum’s board of directors. 

February is membership renewal time and is a great opportunity to renew memberships and see the new exhibits including the “Footprints in the Sand” paver garden.

Museum members are dedicated to supporting the mission of the museum in preserving, documenting, and sharing the complete history of Destin.  If interested in becoming a member visit the museum any time Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., call 850-837-6611 or email Kathy Blue at kathydestinhistory@gmail.com for a membership application.

 Memberships available include $20 individual, $50 family, $100 club or charter boat. Other membership and donor levels are also available.
