SaltAir Farmers' Market back home

PORT ST. JOE, FL - The SaltAir Farmers' Market is back home at Reid Avenue and State 71, the new Port St. Joe City Commons, and preparing to celebrate the Fourth of July.

Jodi Perez of Provisions will give a cooking demonstration with market produce.

The SaltAir Market is a community event held on the first and third Saturdays through November. The farmers and vendors are set up by 9 a.m., EDT, offering plants, crafts, jellies, cakes and fresh fruits and vegetables.

Peaches, plums, berries, heirloom tomatoes and citrus are at the market as they come in season.

This year, the market offers two tables at each market for community fundraising. Any non-profit organization can sign up for a slot by seeing Jodi or Jason at Provisions on Williams Avenue and Third Street to get on the calendar.
