AAR coming to the Swamp
OKALOOSA ISLAND, FL - The Swamp has announced that the All-American Rejects will co-headline a concert there on Dec. 4 with Taking Back Sunday. Anberlin is also on the bill in support.
Tickets are on sale now. They’re $37.50 in advance and $42.50 the day of the show. Get them from bartenders at the Swamp, at FYE in Santa Rosa Mall and online at Emerald-CoastTickets.com.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m., and you have to be 18 to enter. The Swamp is at the Boardwalk on Okaloosa Island.
According to a press release, both AAR and Taking Back Sunday toured earlier this year with Blink-182 and Weezer. They’re launching their co-headlining tour in November.
Taking Back Sunday released their fourth album, “New Again,” in June where it debuted in the Top 10 on Billboard’s Top 200 Album Chart. The first single, “Sink into Me,” peaked at No. 10 on Billboard’s Alternative songs chart.
“When the World Comes Down” is AAR’s third album. The first single, “Gives You Hell,” spent four weeks at No. 1 on Billboard charts. The current single, “I Wanna,” debuted this week at No. 37 on the AT 40 Countdown Chart.
My favorites from the CD, however, are “Mona Lisa (When the World Comes Down),” “The Wind Blows,” “Sunshine” and “Fallin’ Apart.”
I also like “Another Heart Calls,” “Believe” and “Back to Me.” Heck, I pretty much love the whole CD. It’s by far their best yet although “Move Along” went double platinum and is great, too. Can you tell I’m a fan?
