A world of wine opens to WaterColor
Chan Cox’s much-anticipated Wine World Bar & Deli at WaterColor finally opened its doors to the public this week, following VIP events last weekend.
“Business has been good,” said Chef Alison Porter.
Encompassing the space of two former eateries at the intersection of County Road 30A and the town center, the bar can seat 40 inside and 40 more outside.
Outside, the aromas of baking bread and other eats draws passersby in. Inside, the delectable culinary creations can be carried out or eaten on site.
Decorated in cool and sophisticated shades of tan, mahogany and red, the calming ambiance entices many to eat in.
Small plates of gourmet artisan cheese and antipasto trays, crab cakes or proscuitto shrimp pair perfectly with any of the hundreds of bottles of wine from all over the world that line the shelves.
If it’s more than a nosh that you’re craving, four varieties of pizza and two entrees with sides are available, or a choice of soups, salads, and sandwiches.
Top it off with any of three desserts created in house by Porter and her staff.
Open seven days a week from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily, lunch is served from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., pizza and cheese trays are available from 3 to 5 p.m., and tapas or entrees from 5 to 9 p.m.
The bar opens daily at 11 a.m. As at Wine World’s other locations, Friday Night Flights wine tastings are held from 5 to 7 p.m. each Friday.
