Readers were asked on Facebook and Twitter what tips they would pass on to future brides. Here's what they had to say:
Candace Pitts Cullum: Just remember this is YOUR wedding... do it YOUR way and have fun!!!
Melissa Rogers: Enjoy the day and don't stress over the little things. God put you two together for a reason and he will take care of it all.
Julie Theiss: Allow at least an hour for photos in between your vows and entrees. And Mari Darr-Welch is the best photographer in the area.
Jamie Lynn Lemos: Remember to take photos with everyone, especially out-of-state guests. Everything gets a bit overwhelming and you forget to do certain things.
Karnote Sadie: Don't spend a ridiculous amount of money, save that for your 20-year anniversary.
Loree Arrington: Plan time in your day where you can stop and be in the moment with those you love. Those memories I cherish 25 years later.
