NICEVILLE — Tradewinds has been a mainstay in Niceville for a number of years.

It began as more of a pub that served food, but quickly became known for its pizza, pasta and other Italian dishes.

The food
The menu is divided into antipasti (appetizers), chicken and veal, pasta, seafood and pasta and pizza and calzone.

Tradewinds offers a nice selection of antipasti, ranging from plates of meats and cheeses, caprese salad, portobello mushrooms, stuffed cherry peppers and several seafood dishes.

Your meal at Tradewinds begins with a basket of fresh, hot crusty bread with delicious seasoned dipping oil.

In addition, some entrees come with a house salad, as did ours, with a nice balsamic vinaigrette.

Make sure you ask about the specials for the evening. We did and both of us decided to take advantage of them.
