An American Treasure

NICEVILLE, FL - The galleries at the Mattie Kelly Arts Center at Northwest Florida State College will present a new exhibit from June 21-July 24 - Apalachicola River: An American Treasure. The exhibit is free and open to the public.

Apalachicola River: An American Treasure is the culmination of the work done by five individuals who tell the story of the "big river." It shares the history of the people who make their living from the river and deals with the politics and water wars between Alabama, Florida, and Georgia.

Gallery hours for the exhibit are Monday-Thursday from 9 a.m.-4 p.m., Sundays from 1-4 p.m. and 90 minutes prior to most performances in the main stage theater of the Mattie Kelly Arts Center.

For information, contact the gallery office at (850) 729-6044.
