DESTIN — The Girl Scouts of the Florida Panhandle will be offering the area a special, tasty treat March 1 at Destin Desserts.
The event will take place March 1 at Emerald Grande at Harbor Walk Village and will showcase the talents of local chefs and the power of the Girl Scout cookie. The chefs will be tasked with the job of creting desserts using the Girl Scout cookies.
Attenndees to the event will vote on the best dessert of the day.
"These one-of-a-kind chef specials are sure to delight the palatesof the most discerning dessert aficionados," said Raslean M. Allen, chief executive officer with Girl Scout Council of the Florida Panhandle.
Proceeds from the event will help support the Girl Scout's programs and activities that help build girls' courage, confidence and character.
Tickets are $50 each and are on sale at each participating chef's business and at Southern Agenda located at 4522 U.S. Hwy. 20 E in Niceville.
