Art exhibition
An art exhibit by Melissa Davis and Jamie Conley will be held through Dec. 31 at Amavida Coffee in Seaside.

Jan. 1

Polar Bear Splash and Paddle Board Dash
Join the South Walton Fire District for its inaugural Polar Bear Splash and Paddle Board Dash at 11 a.m. at the Ed Walline beach access at the south end on CR 393 in Santa Rosa Beach.
Sign in begins at 10 a.m., and both begin at 11 a.m. $20 donation. Proceeds will benefit the SWFD Department Relations Committee and Donations 4 Danny Fund. Call 267-1298.

Topsail tour
A Turpentine Trail Hike begins at 1:30 p.m. at Topsail Hill Preserve State Park in Santa Rosa Beach for America’s State Parks First Day Hikes. Program requires a $6 entry admission into the park. Outside tours are canceled during severe weather. For information, call 267-8330.

Prime Time
Coastal Library “Winter Prime Time” programs begin at 10 a.m. Wiley Selman and The Coastal Strummers, along with Bob Hill, will make his appearance with the saw and autoharp.
Selman will offer free instruction in January at the Coastal Library. Register at 267-2809.

Rosalina
Rosalina plays classic standards and show tunes on keyboard from 6-9 p.m. Wednesdays and Saturdays at Christiano's Ristorante in Santa Rosa Beach. Call 267-2185.

Jan. 3

ECMS
The Emerald Coast Meditation Society will meet at 6:30 p.m. Jan. 3 at 480 N. Co. Hwy. 393 in Santa Rosa Beach.

Fusion fitness class
Hope Lutheran Church, 3422 U.S. 98 W in Santa Rosa Beach, will offer a fusion fitness class at 9 a.m.

Alan Moore Art Exhibit
A Rock n’ Roll Inspired Junk Art Exhibit featuring the work of Alan Moore plus live music with Chris and Gileah Taylor, Wood Rat and Libby O’Neill begins at 6 p.m. at Amavida Coffee, 4281 County Hwy 30A in Rosemary Beach.

Booksigning
Darrell McMann, a resident of Cantonment, will sign copies of his book, “Welcome To The Brier Patch,” from 2:30-5 p.m. at Sundog Books, 89 Central Square in Santa Rosa Beach.
