Café Liquid’s Camper Café is coffee on wheels. It’s a mobile camper in which you can purchase coffee, breakfast items and lunch items.
Camper Café offers a variety of coffee drinks such as pour-over coffee, drip coffee, cold brew coffee, coffee with espresso and other specialty drinks. It also offers frozen drinks in sweet flavors such as peanut butter pie, protein shakes and hot tea.
I ordered a cappuccino, and my guest ordered the pour-over coffee, which the attendant recommended.
Both of us agreed the coffee was rich and flavorful. The drinks were served at the perfect hot temperature.
The mobile food venue offers breakfast items such as bagels and mini donuts, but we opted for sandwiches.
I created a breakfast sandwich by ordering egg, bacon and cheddar cheese served on croissant bread.
My guest ordered the club sandwich, which included turkey, ham, bacon, arugula, tomato, mayonnaise, honey mustard on wheat bread.
The club sandwich was hearty, likely large enough for two meals. My guest enjoyed it, especially when he tasted the honey mustard, which he felt added a “special touch.”
The breakfast sandwich I created was delicious. To my surprise, the eggs were fried rather than scrambled. I enjoyed tasting the yolk flavor in each bite.
My guest went back the next day to try the handmade mini-doughnuts. They were not the traditional doughnuts.
He said it was fried dough topped with cinnamon and powdered sugar.
Camper Café has an eclectic, cool style that mixes industrial pieces with vintage.
The coffee and food is served from the window of an eye-catching, light blue 1977 Coachmen Cadet. Globe string lights hang from both the camper and extend around it providing a relaxed, chic vibe.
A long, industrial-style table sits next to the camper. You can stand up and eat your food at the table or take it with you in the provided to-go containers.
We ate at the table on a cool autumn morning, and it was perfect.
Camper Café’s service was excellent.
Only one man was working when we went, and he handled the order and payment in an efficient manner. He also gave informed advice on ordering when necessary.
The attendant gave us each dish individually as it was ready.
A final taste
Camper Café is an awesome place to stop for coffee or breakfast in the morning, while supporting a local business.
