The area is jumping into the trampoline park craze with a facility set to open by early summer.
Surge Trampoline Park will open behind Santa Rosa Mall and beside Regal Cinema 10 in a 28,000-square-foot building, according to a news release.
The indoor, air-conditioned facility will include activities such as a large open court of inter-connected trampolines, a jousting battle beam, a spinning wipe-out apparatus, a toddler zone, gymnastics tumble tracks, multiple dodge ball courts, three heights of basketball dunking goals, foam pits, a rock climbing wall and a flying trapeze.
There will also be party areas for birthdays, sleepovers, school field trips and other activities.
“Our parks offer high energy family entertainment with a primary focus on safety, fun and fitness,” Vance Elkins, spokesman for Surge Trampoline Park, said in the news release.
There will also be a spectator area for those who don’t wish to jump.
According to Surge’s website, tickets will run from $13.95 for one hour of jumping to $27.95 for three hours. Group discounts and mid-week specials also will be available.
The closest trampoline park is in Pensacola. Surge Trampoline already has two locations in Opelika and Homewood, Alabama.
